Most Corrupt Countries in the World

Corruption is something that is common all over the world. And this is not a new phenomenon. It has been in existence since ancient times at different levels. But the sad truth is that its evil wings have spread to every corner of the globe today. Man’s greed takes over all other things, and the ambition to get rich fast and easily drives everyone into this vice. Though, it must be said that there are still some regions which have little or no corruption, reasons being many.

Here, we are going to have a look at the world’s most corrupt countries, and as we move down we will also see the least corrupt countries in the world. This list of corrupt countries has been formulated based on many factors, like private and public sector corruption, government corruption, and also individual level corruption. The corrupt countries ranking works on a scale of 1.0 to 10.0, which is also called the CPI rating. The idea is that 1 is the most corrupt and 10 is no corruption at all. In simple terms, the countries higher on the list are more corrupt, and the ones lower down are cleaner. Have a look.
