Australia, which is the biggest country in the Oceania, comes next with an area of nearly 2,969,907 sq. miles, around 5.2% of the world land area. India comes next at seventh position with an area of nearly 1,269,219 sq. miles, and is the largest country in South Asia. Argentina, the second largest country in South America, has an area of around 1,073,500 sq. miles. Kazakhstan, with an area of around 1,052,100 sq. miles, is the largest landlocked country in the world. Algeria comes next, with an area of 919,595 sq. miles, and is the largest country in Africa and the Mediterranean region.
