makeup tipsEasy Ways to Apply Lipstick
Looking for gorgeous, luscious lips? Find out how to apply lipstick the perfect way. Choosing the right color suiting to your skin type will give you the perfect, instant, glamorous, and beautiful look. Shades of red are a must to have for fairer skin tones. For darker complexion, lighter red, brown or purple should go.

  1. Choose the best brand and color according to your skin complexion.
  2. Make sure your lips are very smooth and soft.
  3. Apply lip balm or moisturizer.
  4. Outline your lips using a color pencil matching your lipstick. Outlining your lips will block the lipsticks by leaking out. Make sure it is applied perfectly with a thin line.
  5. Or use a sponge or small brush to dab powder foundation. This will keep the lipstick color from seeping outside.
  6. Seal up your lips with the perfect brand and color.

Simple Eye Makeup Tips
The eyes are what people first notice in your appearance. Here are some simple makeup tips for sparkling, beautiful, and magnificent eyes. Follow these steps one by one to highlight those beautiful eyes.

  1. Start with applying primer to your eyelid; this will smoothen your skin and the makeup will stick well. Apply it all over the eyelid up to the eyebrow bone.
  2. Apply concealer in case of dark circles. Apply over the whole area till your inner eye meets your nose.Use your finger or brush to do so. You can set the concealer by brushing loose powder over it and to your eyelids.
  3. Apply eye shadow. You can use one color or mix the color. You need to apply medium color on your eyelid. For the dip between your eyelid and eyebrow bone, you can use medium pink or light brown, You can apply light pearly off white or other delicate, light colors that matches your eyelid color to the area that sits beneath the eyebrow bone.
  4. Apply darker color like brown, voilet, or which matches up with the first two colors you have used. This application will go for the crease. Start from the outer corner of your crease towards the inner corner on your crease.
  5. Eye liner Line the eye from inside of the lashes. You can use liquid eyeliner or a pencil.
  6. You can go ahead with applying mascara. Black works for everyone. You can even crimp your lashes once in the middle and once near the tips, to have beautiful stunning eyes.
  7. You can use an eyeliner pencil, a liquid liner or an eyeliner brush dipped into a deep shadow to line your eyes. If you use a pencil, set the line with eyeshadow, because penciled lines tend to melt and won’t stay put all day.

Applying Liquid Eyeliner
To apply liquid eyeliner, line the eye from the inside of the lashes outward in one big sweep. You can also line the eye from the middle of the lash line outward, and then finish the line from the inner corner of the eye to the middle. Another liquid eyeliner trick requires a steady hand and will make eyes appear wider.

  1. Start with a completely bare eye.
  2. On the upper lashes, dot the liquid liner into the spaces between the lashes, wiggling the liner into the lashes. The result is not supposed to be a line. It’s supposed to look as if the lashes themselves are super thick at the roots.
  3. Apply mascara.
  4. Compare the eye to other naked eye.
  5. Wiggle the wand left to right at the base of lashes. It’s the mascara placed near the roots — not the tips — that gives the illusion of length.
  6. Pull the wand up and through the lashes, wiggling as you go. The wiggling part is key because it separates lashes.
  7. Close the eyes and place the mascara wand on top of lashes at the base, and pull through to remove any clumps.

How to Buy the Right Makeup

DCF 1.0For those of you who need to know all about buying and applying makeup by yourself, I have something here that you may be interested in.

Choosing the Right Makeup
Don’t just go in for some brand or something you have heard of. Be wise and choose what suits you the best.

  • Make a list of things you need and want. That way, you will know what to buy for sure. For a beginner, you only need the basics. To know your shade, you just have to look at the makeup and try a little on your hand. The shade that looks the most natural is your shade. Make sure that the colors you pick out suit your skin tone, and are of high quality, good value, and suit your skin type. Pick a brand you want to try, and go to their counter at the store. This way, you can try on the products before you buy anything.
  • Start with the simple things, like mascara and eyeliner. If you have a lot of blemishes or pimples, use a powder foundation. For eyeshadow, start with neutral colors, like browns, tans, deep blues, or purples. For light skin, you should wear soft-colored eyeshadows, pink lipsticks, and dark mascara.
  • You will also need to take a moment and think of what you can and cannot buy according to your budget. If you are short of cash, don;t just buy whatever you can with the available resources. Maybe you can postpone your purchase for a month or so till you have enough money to buy the right stuff.

Complexion Guide
Choosing the right makeup for you has everything to do with your age, skin type, and complexion. And while the choices can be daunting, here are a few simple guidelines you can follow.

  • Teens The best look for you is fresh, pretty, and clean. Pinpoint your best feature, like your skin, lips, or eyes, and use makeup to emphasize it. The rule of thumb for teens is that ‘you’ should stand out, not your makeup.
  • Asian Yellow-based foundations and powders work very well for Asian skin. Avoid pink-based foundations and powders; they result in a harsh and unnatural look.
  • Hispanic Wear shades that enhance your natural, striking, dark tone. Avoid bright shades; they will only clash with your color.
  • African-American Darker skin has many complex undertones. That’s why you should get to know your skin and its specific undertones, and choose shades that complement your natural color.
  • Older Adults While many women tend to wear more makeup as they get older, that strategy can backfire. Simplifying your makeup and coordinating with your natural tone will give you a healthier and younger appearance.

Brands You Can try
Ulta, Target, CVS, Walgreen’s, MAC, Sephora, NARS, Urban Decay, Dior, Chanel, Maybelline, CoverGirl, Revlon.

Remember one thing, everyone has different complexions and features. What might look good on your friend won’t necessarily suit you. So make sure you try out anything before making a purchase. This is the only way to buy the right makeup for yourself.

Planets in Our Solar System

planetsThere are eight recognized planets in our solar system. With new discoveries nearly everyday, there are hundreds of dwarf planets and satellites too floating around in our huge solar system. For now, we’ll have a look at the real planets in order from the Sun.

Mercury
Mercury is the smallest planet in our solar system, and is also the closet to the Sun among all. With a speed of 47.87 km/s, it is also the fastest orbiting planet, taking just 88 days to circle around the Sun.

Venus
Venus is the second farthest from the Sun. It orbits the Sun at a speed of 35.02 km/s, and takes 224.7 days to complete a full orbit.

Earth
Our very own planet Earth comes in third as far as distance from the Sun is concerned. Orbiting the Sun at a speed of 29.78 km/s, it takes 365.2 days to complete one round. The Earth is also known as the ‘Blue Planet’.

Mars
Also called the ‘Red Planet’, Mars is the second smallest planet out of the eight. With a speed of 24.077 km/s, it takes Mars 686.97 days to orbit the Sun.

Jupiter
Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. Orbiting the Sun at a speed of 13.07 km/s, it takes Jupiter 4,332.59 days to complete a full orbit.

Saturn
Saturn is the second largest planet in the solar system. It’s orbiting speed is just 9.69 km/s, and it takes Saturn 10,759.22 days to do a complete orbit around the Sun.

Uranus
Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun. Orbiting at a speed of 6.81 km/s, it takes Uranus 30,799.095 days to rotate around the Sun.

Neptune
And finally, Neptune is the farthest out of the eight planets from the Sun. Traveling at a speed of 5.43 km/s, it takes Neptune 60,190.03 days to go around the Sun.

As you can see, as their distance from the Sun increases, planets orbit the Sun at a slower speed, and coupled with the fact that the distance is more, the time for one orbit obviously increases to a great extent.

Martial Art Belts

In each form, there are colored belts that depict the level a student has reached in his training. That’s what we’ll have a look at, the different martial art belts along with their colors. They begin from novice and go to expert level.
